William Ryan has lectured at seminars sponsored by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association. He is the past president of the Kalamazoo County Young Lawyers Association and has served on boards of local agencies, including the Constance Brown Hearing & Speech Center and the Pretty Lake Vacation Camp for underprivileged boys and girls.  He is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Kalamazoo and has recently served as its president.  The community, region and residents have always been important to the law firm.
